Kevin Walker is an amateur photographer, birder, and wilderness enthusiast living in  New York’s Capital Region. An avid hiker, including entering into the ranks of the Adirondacks 46ers in 2013, Kevin is now documenting his journeys through photography.

Mary Szacik is a writer, social worker, and lover of all things wild, including the spirit within. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, she now calls Upstate New York home.

In 2014 Mary and Kevin met for a hike to the Mount Tremper Fire Tower in the Catskill Mountains and have been partners in hiking and life ever since, drawn and held together by their mutual love of this planet and its intricate diversity. Birding has been the catalyst for their creative expression through photos and writing.
